Otis is a retired financial derivatives broker with over 20 years of experience in volatile energy markets. He is involved with early-stage angel investing and enjoys helping companies navigate challenges on the path to successful exits.

Otis is a native of Wisconsin who grew up exploring and fishing in the beautiful Northwoods where he developed a love for the outdoors. After attending college in North Carolina, he decided a warmer climate was for him and it became his home. He has been a longtime sponsor and participant in the Kamchatka Steelhead Project and is a lifetime member of Trout Unlimited and Fly Fisher’s International.

He cares deeply about the plight of wild fish and the importance of advocating for their conservation using science, political and legal means.  He supports and volunteers with local organizations such as Habitat for Humanity to make his community a better place.   Otis enjoys his free time with his wife and two young children and is always looking for a chance to travel, fish, and experience the backcountry with his family and friends.
